Multicrop Soil Improvers

Multicrop produces a range of soil improving products designed to improve productivity as well as conserve water resources. These products facilitate the absorption of water into the soil, overcome problems of water repellence and provide a means of allowing moisture to be held within the soil so that it is available to plants over an extended period.

Multicrop® GroundBreaker®
Clay breaker and soil treatment

This product is a liquid soil conditioner that changes heavy clay soil or soils with a high clay content into a more useable form. It is an ionic resin that changes the electronic charges (ions) on the clay particles so that they can aggregate. This makes more pore space available so that water and dissolved nutrients can penetrate through the soil more easily and allow more oxygen to reach the root zone.

enhanced aerobic bacterial action
more rapid breakdown of organic matter
soil improvement without digging
easier plant root penetration of the soil
planting holes to drain more readily minimising root rot.

Available in 500mL, 1L, 2.5L, 5L, 20L, 110L & 200L sizes and a 2 Litre ready-to-use, hose-on pack.

Multicrop® EcoWet®
Soil Wetting Agent

EcoWet® is a new generation, environment-friendly surfactant. Unlike other surfactants that are based on petro-chemicals, EcoWet® is derived from natural (and renewable) materials such as plant sugars and starches. These break down into a source of nutrients that help sustain the level of beneficial micro- organisms in the soil. In contrast, products based on petro- chemicals can leave toxic residues in the soil.

EcoWet®:

breaks down the surface tension of the soil and allows water to penetrate, thus reducing wasteful run-off
improves water penetration through heavily thatched and hydrophobic turf
eliminates surface pooling and dry patches
can be used on gardens, lawns, pot plants, hanging baskets and to re-wet dry potting mixes.

Available in 500mL, 1L, 2.5L, 20L, 110L and 200L containers and a 2L hose-on pack.

Multicrop® Deep Watering Granules

This product is a granular soil wetting agent.

Creates channels in the soil so that water soaks down and remains in the root zone.
Simple and easy to apply to the soil surface or to combine with soil or potting mix at planting. Water in well.
Ideal for hard-to-wet areas such as those with sandy or compacted soil,  water-repellent organic matter or areas under established trees or shrubs.

Available in 400g, 850g 5kg and 25kg sizes.

Multicrop® Feed'N'Wet Granules

3-Way Action
Feeds for up to 4 months with a full range of trace elements and major nutrients.
Added wetting agent to re-wet hard-to-wet soils and channel water and nutrients down to the roots of the plant.
Added seaweed and gypsum to help break up clay and condition soil.

Available in a 5 litre bag that treats up to 85m2 . 1000 litre bags are also available.
